Crêpes

Have you ever made Crêpes ?  I didn`t, I mean I tried but it never really worked out before. But this recipe is really easy I cooked them on medium heat which worked out good (normally I always cook everything on very high so it often burns ). However eventually I learned that that doesn`t always work so great.

It works better with a crêpe-maker but I don´t own such a thing because I don`t make Crêpes that often. But as you can see it also works with a reqular pan.

 

You will get around 20 Crêpes out of this recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 150 g of flour
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract or a packet of vanilla sugar
  • 650ml of milk
  • a pinch of salt
  • 80 g of butter

Instructions:

  1. In a big bowl wisk together flour and milk until there are no clumps left. Mix in the eggs, vanilla and a pinch of salt.
  2. Melt the butter and also mix it in with the other ingredients. (If the mixture is to thick add a little more milk.)
  3. Let it sit for half an hour. Then heat a pan and put a little oil in it. Only use a little batter they are supposed to be very thin. Cook the Crêpes on medium heat.
